On-Site Stores Assistant
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Stores Assistant to work on one of customer sites. The role involves stock replenishment, picking orders, booking stock in/out via computerised system, and ensuring vending solutions are stocked. This is a permanent full-time position based in Glasgow.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the effective working of the onsite Maintenance and Consumables Stores.
- Stock replenishing and picking orders.
- Booking stock in/out via our computerised system.
- Ensure all Vending Solutions on site are stocked with correct product levels.
- Provide excellent customer service to all external and internal customers.
- Assist with Continuous Improvement projects within Stores.
- Daily restocking of all vending machines on site.
- Accurately book out items from the stores.
- Receipt deliveries into computer systems within agreed timescale.
- Work with management to reduce Stock Outs.
- Process returned items.
- Engage in Plant/Production Critical spares management.
- Adhere to all stock management processes and procedures.
- Complete all tasks in a timely manner.
- Perform any reasonable task per management instruction.
- Work efficiently as part of a team.
- Fulfill training programs for efficient performance and personal development.
