Committed to growing our business, there is now an opportunity for a commercially-astute, customer-focused General Manager to join our team at our Skoda Dealership in Birmingham.
As a General Manager you will be an integral member of team. You will approach situations with an enthusiastic and positive manner, to ensure the dealership, your colleagues and our customers all benefit.
Highly customer-focused and experienced within the Sales and Aftersales departments, you will assume responsibility for the daily operations within the business and should have a proven track record in delivering outstanding balanced scorecard and financial performance, along with previous experience working within a franchised dealer.
Salary will be depending on experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain site standards to meet company and franchise requirements
- Day to day management of the site
- Ensure the site has the correct and well managed new and used car stock
- Undertake monthly management reviews with your team
- Work with the Divisional Accounts function to submit accurate flash forecasts
- Lead your team to meet and exceed budgeted performance
- Maintain a supportive relationship with dealership departments and advising, implementing and maintaining robust processes within departments in order to meet dealership targets
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have a proven track record in an Automotive Management role
- Have previous experience working in a main dealer environment
- Have experience with financial management, budgeting, and be able to understand the dealership accounts
- Have the ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies including understanding market trends, competition, and identifying opportunities for growth
