Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Location: Elstow (Bedfordshire)

What Will You Be Doing?
- Weighing vehicles in and out and accurately recording details using the Gladis Weighbridge system
- Processing weighbridge tickets and inspecting Duty of Care documentation
- Ensuring waste acceptance complies with environmental permits and site rules
- Maintaining records relating to hazardous and non-hazardous waste
- Greeting visitors and completing site inductions in line with health & safety and traffic management procedures
- Handling telephone enquiries and directing calls appropriately
- Carrying out general administrative duties including raising purchase orders, ordering supplies and maintaining filing systems
- Supporting site compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation
- Undertaking routine checks such as building inspections, legionella water temperature checks and first aid checks
- Assisting customers wherever safe and practical
- Completing any other reasonable duties required to support site operations
What Are We Looking For?
- Previous experience of weighbridge operations and Duty of Care (desirable)
- Strong administrative skills with good attention to detail
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- A professional, friendly manner with good verbal communication skills
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- A flexible, “can do” attitude
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
