Role Description
The Product Manager serves as a key member of the Product Strategy group. They will interface between, and work together with, various groups on product requirements, design, development, testing and overall quality management. The Tooling product line focuses on our internal and external support and self-service tools.
Role Responsibilities
- Initial requirements gathering, clarification, prioritization and documentation
- On-going communication with stakeholders and in particular conducting stakeholder reviews
- The process of prioritization between competing projects
- Interaction with development and project management teams for requirement communication and development design discussions
Key Objectives & Skills
Key objectives:
- Must have a detail-oriented disposition and clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
- Must have experience writing business and functional requirements documents, user acceptance test plans, use cases, UI mockups, user stories, and release notes
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm, curiosity and an ability to work and deliver results independently
Skills:
- 5-10 years’ experience working in a Product Management role
- Strong knowledge of electronic trading, especially equities, options, and futures
- Expertise in Atlassian products, especially JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with UX design, standards such as FDC3 a plus
