[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a global financial services group. The EMEA Operational Risk team is responsible for operational risk management in the region. This role resides in the EMEA Operational Risk function with key responsibilities for 2LoD oversight of the Technology Department and Business Resilience. The Technology Operational Risk Manager will support the EMEA ORM Head of Technology Risk, challenge risk self-assessments, and support global technology risk management. Key objectives include excellent relationship management, strong Technology & Business Resilience risk management skills, and good coordination, documentation, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the EMEA ORM Head of Technology Risk (2LoD) face off to senior 1st line stakeholders, mostly in Technology and Business Resilience.
• Challenging the completeness and accuracy of risk self-assessments and ensuring risk mitigation actions are implemented.
• Supporting the global Technology Risk team in establishing a consistent approach to Technology risk management.
• Developing close working relationships with key business stakeholders and communicating key Operational Risk developments.
• Providing support and challenge to key business stakeholders in maintaining Operational Risk products: RCSAs, KRIs, Scenario Analysis, and event management.
• Identifying key trends, issues, and insights requiring investigation.

Required Skills & Experience

Candidates should have experience in operational risk or related functions in financial services, particularly Technology risk and Business Resilience. Must have knowledge of industry frameworks (NIST, ISO27001, COBIT, CIS) and regulations (DORA, UK Operational Resilience). Strong data analysis abilities using Excel and understanding of Operational Risk in a Wholesale business are required. Desirable: investment banking / capital markets experience.
