Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join its Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies Service. This hybrid role involves delivering low intensity CBT interventions, conducting assessments, and facilitating groups. The role is not eligible for sponsorship. Salary: £30,500 per annum. Closing date: May 12, 2026.

About the Job

Our PWPs provide disorder specific assessments and evidence-based low intensity CBT interventions for people with anxiety disorders and/or depression. We work to the stepped care model. Our PWPs offer treatments including telephone and online treatment, CBT programmes, psycho-educational groups, courses, workshops, webinars, and one-to-one work. About You

  • Holds a PG or UG certificate in Low Intensity Interventions from a BPS accredited PWP training provider, or equivalent qualification.
  • Hold PWP Registration (or working towards) with BABCP or BPS.
  • Looking to work for an innovative provider who values you and your career development.
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality disorder specific assessments and Low Intensity CBT interventions.
  • Able to demonstrate good therapeutic relationships and undertake thorough risk assessments.
  • Inspirational and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to organise high volume workload effectively.
  • Flexible to meet service needs and committed to improving access to psychological therapies.
