Care Assistant

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to join our team as Care Assistants across the region. This role offers £14 per hour, guaranteed 40 hours per week, and a range of benefits including paid mileage, pension, and apprenticeship opportunities.
Role Description
As a Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting Service Users by:
- Delivering care in line with best practice, legislative requirements, and company policies under the guidance of senior leadership.
- Supporting Service Users to maintain their independence and engage in activities that reflect their personal interests and preferences.
- Continuing to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development opportunities.
Being a Care Assistant means being adaptable, empathetic, and caring. Duties include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with personal care, such as showering, bathing, and toileting.
- Supporting mobility around the home.
- Managing medication and providing medical support as needed.
- Helping with household tasks, including cleaning, cooking, and tidying.
- Running errands, such as food shopping and picking up prescriptions.
Our Requirements
- You have the Right to Work in the UK (we cannot sponsor Health and Care Worker visas).
- You hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Working Hours
Shifts per week: 40 hours with shifts from 06:45 to 14:00, 16:00 to 22:00, and 12:00 to 06:00. Flexibility essential, including weekends.
