Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant for their Pausa coffee shop in Salisbury. This is a permanent, on-site role with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Pay ranges from £8.00 per hour (ages 16-17) to £12.71 per hour (18+).
About the Role
Your local store is looking for a Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant. From the first coffee poured to the final smile shared, every moment in Pausa is a chance to brighten someone's day. You'll take pride in every cup, build expert knowledge of our product range, and meaningfully connect with customers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Be customer obsessed – consistently consider the impact of your actions on the customer experience.
- Serving hot and cold beverages that delight our customers.
- Dishing up delicious savoury and sweet food items with great presentation.
- Ensuring all cooked food is hot and enjoyed as intended.
- Keeping restaurant tables clear and sanitised promptly.
- Providing exceptional cleanliness throughout kitchen, service area, and restaurant.
- Delivering exceptional customer service to support strong CSAT scores.
- Working with various ingredients including dairy, nuts, and meat products.

- Previous experience working closely with a team; ideally prior work in a similar environment.
