Job Description

Overview: Supervisor - Terminal Operations (Late Shift) at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This role is responsible for leading and supervising operational teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality cargo handling in line with customer and company standards. You’ll deliver operational excellence, maintain safety and quality procedures, and support team development.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, company and customer requirements.
  • Assign tasks, conduct safety briefings and optimise resource use (both labour and equipment)
  • Lead onboarding and training for new staff; monitor performance of all staff and recommend development.
  • Communicate policy changes and maintain professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, standard operating practices, with recommendations for action and continuous improvement

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work from 13:30 to 22:00 Monday to Friday
  • Have a flexible attitude to work times and work arrangements to ensure operations are successfully completed.
  • Able to problem solve to overcome challenges in a dynamic working environment
  • IT literacy essential
  • Health & Safety experience in an operational environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Fluent English language skills required, English is our global business language.
  • Full clean driving license.
