Are you passionate about working in a very busy time sensitive environment, with the ability to adapt to operational change. We are looking for a Mobile Fitter to join our Field Maintenance at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. CSCS Card required NVQ Level 2
Key Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing: As a mobile fitter you will be part of a professional maintenance team that is responsible for servicing, repairing, maintaining both plant & welfare products on customer sites throughout the country.
- Required to have good safety awareness & able to work in a safe professional manner, this includes good housekeeping, correct use of personnel protective equipment, attending regular toolbox talks & near miss reporting.
- Regular contact with planners to ensure you are safe whist working on sites
- Ensure your PPE is in good condition and correct for site use
- Provide a high-quality repair and maintenance service
- Carry the correct parts to ensure first time fix
- Preventative maintenance -Whist on customers sites check [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] equipment and repair/report any issues
- Communicate with customer regarding work required
- Identify damage and ensure this is communicated with FMS desk
- Accurate diagnoses of fault to eliminate repeat visits and reduce exchanges
- Correct route planning to avoid delays
- Provide high quality repairs
- Highlight potential issues which could result in breakdowns
- To keep adequate stock of components ensuring all parts are booked out
- Communicate any delays with FMS Team
- Ensure all daily workloads are completed
- Be on site at the times agreed with the customer
- Working as a team – Be willing to operate within a team & offer support to the wider team if required, this may also include supporting other depots through periods of annual leave.
- Flexible, you will be required to work extra hours and on some occasion work in other areas.

What We're Looking For:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Working experience of domestic Fault finding.
- Plumbing / electrical knowledge
- Mechanical engineering background
- ECS/CSCS Card
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated to work individually or as part of a team
- Has a flexible approach, including working away at times occasional evening and weekend work.
