About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and talented Senior Planner to provide planning management and support to both pre-contract (tender) and contract operations (live projects). Key responsibilities include:
- Plan construction works from first principles.
- Develop and produce fully logic linked and integrated tender programmes.
- Engage with supply chain and team members to achieve optimum programme and build solutions.
- Produce method statements, answers to quality questions, and ensure alignment with pricing.
- Develop logistic plans, phasing plans, 4D elements and CGI production.
- Produce tender deliverables as per Tender Activity Programme timescales.
- Generate and contribute to the Prelim Book during tender stage.
- Manage and update construction programme and communicate to stakeholders.
- Experience with JCT and NEC forms of contract.
- Manage change events into the programme and support entitlement under contract.
- Assist project managers and site teams with onsite planning and reporting.
- Chair and lead Collaborative Planning sessions.
Requirements
- Degree or HNC (or equivalent) in Building Studies or related subject.
- Significant experience in main contracting market on projects between £10 and £80 million.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Ideally Asta Power Projects experience.
- Ability to work proactively and deliver to business standard.
