We are offering a trainee opportunity to commence Summer 2024. You will be part of a growing and dynamic team in our Yorkshire region, working on real projects alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the estimating team to achieve deadlines as part of the wider Precontract Team.
- Obtain the most competitive quotes by understanding current market trends.
- Assist tender pricing strategies and continuously monitor market pricing.
- Review and assess tender documentation ensuring all documents are received and correct.
- Assist in the review of tender documents assessing scope, risks, and tender complexity.
- Shadow the team on site inspections for tender understanding and analysis.
- Operate within standard estimating procedures, calculate and prepare quantities.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Compile documentation and assist with handover material for project team.
Qualifications & Skills
- A level or equivalent education, working towards suitable qualification.
- Appreciation of first principles estimating.
- Awareness of current health and safety requirements.
- Good experience of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Appreciation of Bluebeam and InDesign software.
- Ability to manage tasks, work in a team, and follow instructions.
