Managing Quantity Surveyor (North West)
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor for their North West business. The role involves financial reporting, subcontract placement, mentoring, and commercial oversight of projects between £10-40 million. This is a permanent full-time position, office/site based with flexibility for occasional remote working.

About the role
- Provide accurate financial reporting on individual projects
- Collate, review financially and report on other projects within remit
- Supervise, support and advise direct reports
- Place subcontracts in accordance with main contract and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] policies
- Advise other project surveyors on value maximisation and cost minimisation
- Ensure direct reports follow correct procedures
- Provide mentoring and assistance with commercial team development
- Provide assistance with commercial aspects of bids/tender opportunities
Ideally you will have
- Significant experience in main contracting market on Educational, commercial, Healthcare and Public buildings between £10 and £40 million
- Experience in running a portfolio of work
- Experience of overseeing multiple schemes in PCSA
- Experience of reviewing and negotiating Main Contract terms
What are we looking for?
As an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will have a BSc or HND (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related subject, RICS Membership, and knowledge of subcontract procurement and monthly measurement cycles.
