What we need from you

Reporting to our Commercial Manager of our Inverness Region, you will work to maintain commercial information to the contract, satisfying the needs of both the customer and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in terms of reporting contract commercial performance. Our Quantity Surveyors contribute to achieving the appropriate commercial result through the provision of accurate financial reporting whilst managing subcontractor supplier accounts and understanding our customers’ needs to consistently provide high customer service and on-site delivery.

  • You will need to be able to provide or obtain the right to work in the UK.
  • You will need to be able to drive and provide or obtain a full UK Driving Licence.
  • Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor or potentially looking for a move into Quantity Surveying and can demonstrate practical knowledge in forms of contract and commercial management of subcontractors?
  • You will have a qualification or the skills and experience at SCQF Level 8/9/10 (e.g., HND, Degree level)
  • Be able to work on multiple projects at various stages at any one time without the need for close supervision.
  • Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of period cost reporting and comparison with budget/forecast.
  • Have a diligent approach to the preparation of information to customers and to the checking of information provided by others
  • Preferably, you will have previous experience with COINS and RICS accredited.
  • Have a real passion for the industry and want to deliver exceptionally, the places where we live, learn, work, play, care and protect.
