Document Controller

We are looking for a highly organised and competent Document Controller to set up, manage and maintain project document control systems in line with the company, customer, and project.

You will coordinate all activities related to the document control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence, and input document data into standard registers, ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date. You will ensure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, sub-contractors and suppliers, and maintain the documents and drawings in the document control office under safe custody, without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.

About You

We’d like our Document Controller to be educated to NVQ level (or equivalent) and have previous document control experience. You’ll have knowledge in the use of spreadsheets, database, word processing and selected job specific software, and have experience of setting up and using electronic document management systems.
