FULL DESCRIPTION

Senior Site Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their Kent Business based in Canterbury. This is a permanent, full-time position with project-based work and occasional remote working.

About the Role

  • Manage the site and ensure adherence to all policies, procedures and standards
  • Supervise direct labour and coordinate trades and subcontractors
  • Ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times
  • Provide a reliable first point of contact service
  • Implement and monitor all systems and procedures
  • Implement and adhere to environmental controls
  • Establish and maintain site set up and welfare facilities
  • Understand customer’s objectives and ensure good communication
  • Encourage customer feedback and take appropriate action
  • Communicate on sub-contractor performance

Requirements

  • Significant experience in main contracting, especially on Residential/Care/Educational schemes between £10-40 million
  • Experience running multiple projects
  • Experience managing client-facing interactions
  • HNC/HND (or equivalent) in construction, CIOB, First Aid, CSCS (CITB 5 day and Temporary works training preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques
