An insight into the Scotland Team
Here within the Construction Scotland Division, we work on projects across the Central Belt area as well as projects up in Inverness. Joining our Scotland region will give you the opportunity to create inspiring places that enhance our communities in education, health care and long-term residential care facilities.
What will I be doing as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor?
- Applying best practice to our commercial processes to help maximise returns in terms of profit.
- Using your keen eye to identify and drive out any redundant costs.
- Supporting with the preparation and closure on monthly invoices looking at variations, claims, and any disputes.
- Learning how to conduct project financial forecasts.
- Becoming the go-to-person for our and wider contractual, commercial, regulatory procedures.
What’s in it for you?
Salary starting at £24,570.00 per annum with progression of up to 5% every 6 months. Benefits include Company Car or Car Allowance (subject to grade), travel allowance of £1,500.00 per year, pension matched up to 6%, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, life assurance, and more.
What we need from you
- Minimum four Scottish Highers including English and Maths or equivalent.
- Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel to sites.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Passion for the construction industry.
