Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Document Controller to set up, manage and maintain project document control systems in line with company, customer and project requirements within the Northern Home Counties Business. This position is project based, with flexibility for occasional remote working.

About the Role
- Coordinate all activities related to the document control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
- Check that all information complies with specified company formats, templates and standards.
- Set up and manage the timely compilation of operational and maintenance manuals.
- Maintain the documents and drawings providing a full comprehensive traceability of change.
Ideal Experience
- Experience of Viewpoint software and a clear understanding of Workflow.
- Significant experience in the main contracting market with experience of working on schemes between £10 and £40 million.
What We Are Looking For
As an experienced Document Controller, you will have a good understanding of electronic document management systems and educated to NVQ level or equivalent. Strong knowledge of setting up and using electronic document management systems, spreadsheets, database, word processing and selected job specific software. You should share our passion for the project and enjoy working in an inclusive and hardworking team environment.
