Location: Banbridge, Co. Down
Responsible to: BIM Manager
Closing date: 22 May 2026
Salary: Depending on Experience
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 17:00 & Friday 8:00 - 15:00

We are seeking a CAD Technician based in Banbridge to be part of our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use AutoCAD to prepare Building Services drawings to include Elevations, Schematics & General Details
  • Take ownership of assigned work and manage own workload in line with agreed schedules.
  • Ensure all drawings and outputs meet company quality standards and project requirements
  • Produce and maintain CAD drawings in full compliance with company procedures and established CAD standards
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve drafting processes and efficiency
  • Deliver all assigned work accurately and within agreed deadlines

Qualifications

5 GCSEs or Equivalent, including Maths & English

Experience & Knowledge

Essential:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role
  • Experience with AutoCAD software

Desirable:

  • Experience using Autodesk MEP / FabCAD MEP software

Abilities & Skills

  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Ability to work to deadlines across multiple tasks
  • Attitude to learn and develop skills with Autodesk software packages
  • Positive team player
  • Flexible and willing to support wider team tasks
