This hybrid role is based in London, Birmingham, or Leeds and involves owning revenue strategy, building partnerships, and converting new business opportunities.

We're seeking a results-oriented New Business Development Manager to help accelerate our success across the SME sector within our Career Transition & Mobility portfolio. This client-facing position sits within our Career Transition & Mobility business line and forms part of our UK Sales team. You'll act as a trusted advisor to HR and Talent leaders, helping organisations manage their workforce priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the revenue and growth strategy across your assigned territory (~1,500 prospects)
  • Collaborate across the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] portfolio and within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s business lines to strengthen partnerships and unlock cross-brand opportunities.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities, ensuring pipeline accuracy and providing insightful forecasting to leadership.
  • Leverage marketing-generated leads while proactively creating new demand through networking, referrals, and market intelligence.
  • Work in close partnership with your account management team to onboard new clients, ensuring seamless delivery, retention, and expansion of client partnerships.
  • Role model and champion a collaborative culture, maximising opportunity, knowledge sharing, and driving mutual success across the wider UK sales team.

Requirements

  • Proven success in driving growth: building, developing, and converting complex customer relationships and contracts.
  • Ability to design and execute a market strategy, shaping your portfolio around emerging trends, client demand, and growth opportunities to maximise potential.
  • A consistent record of exceeding sales targets, supported by a data-driven, strategic approach to business development.
  • Strong adoption of technology and CRM systems (ideally Salesforce), using them to manage pipelines, forecast accurately, and drive productivity.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills and able to engage senior stakeholders with confidence, clarity, and credibility.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with the agility to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • High energy, resilience, and tenacity, with the drive to overcome challenges and deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.
