A snapshot of the role

The [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] has an exciting opportunity for a Consultant in Sport & Exercise Medicine to join our Sports Medicine service, as part of the wider [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Specialist Services team.

The successful applicant will deliver sports medicine services to World Class Programme (WCP) athletes across multiple Olympic and Paralympic sports based from the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Regional Hub at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre and will be the named Doctor for Hockey.

The role combines direct clinical care with leadership and technical oversight, ensuring evidence-informed medical practice, high-quality interdisciplinary working, and compliance with good clinical governance. The postholder will also play a key role in developing practitioners, leading projects in strategic health areas, and facilitating knowledge sharing across the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] network.

We see this role as critical to our success and are looking for ability to work in an integrated manner as part of a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, sport embedded practitioners and medical administrators.
