The Opportunity

The [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] have an exciting opportunity for a Performance & Innovation Consultant – Health (Paralympic Specialist).

Snapshot of the Role

Performance & Innovation (P&I) Consultants are responsible for engaging effectively with sports to clean and refine performance requirements into clear, answerable performance questions and well-scoped projects/activities with further responsible for the delivery of solutions to drive performance impact.

The Consultant should be highly skilled in working with Paralympic sports to understand performance gaps and performance priorities in which innovation/projects/technical expertise can make a difference and in developing intelligence to identify areas of proactive need across the system.

The consultant is responsible for the proactive curation and development of an expert network in areas of technical and innovation relevance. They will also show a high degree of expertise in working with specialists from within and outside sport so that external skills and knowledge effectively translate to the context of elite sport to create a performance change.

The postholder combines high-level consultancy skills with specialist Athlete Health expertise to design and lead projects and activities that deliver technical and innovation solutions that positively impact performance.

The role holder is expected to engage with sports on a week-by-week basis often in the place of training or competition.
