Head Chef with Food Hall Planning Expertise

Are you a highly skilled Head Chef with a deep understanding of global cuisine and experience in food hall operations? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team and be part of the planning stage for our upcoming food hall whilst also helping to run our current restaurant.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan and design the food hall concept
  • Develop an innovative and diverse food hall menu, considering various cuisines from around the world
  • Source high quality ingredients and establish relationships with suppliers.
  • Create standardised recipes and ensure consistency across multiple food stalls
  • Train and supervise the kitchen staff providing guidance on food preparation techniques and presentation
  • Oversee the day to day operations of our current restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality and service
  • Manage inventory, control costs and optimise kitchen efficiency the restaurant and food hall
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate new culinary concepts into the food hall offerings.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Head Chef including experience in food hall or multi cuisine environment
  • Extensive knowledge of global cuisine and the ability to create diverse and authentic dishes
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding results
  • Experience in menu planning, recipe development and food costing
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Culinary qualifications and relevant certifications are desirable
