Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Engineering Department at the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] for a Band 3 Administration Assistant. The Clinical Engineering Department directly and indirectly maintains the 26,000 medical devices within the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and Cromer Hospitals. The Admin Team provide comprehensive administrative support to senior team members.
Main Duties of the Job
- Provide general administrative support to the Clinical Engineering Department: processing monthly servicing schedules and reports, maintaining filing and records systems, handling telephone calls and correspondence.
- Raise purchase orders for spare parts, stationery, repairs to equipment and chase outstanding orders.
- Generate and interpret reporting for service key performance indicators.

Responsibilities
- Manage personnel records for the Department.
- Provide secretarial support for Senior Staff.
- Raise purchase orders for spares, stationery, repairs to equipment.
- Process delivery notes, debtor requisitions, invoices.
- Enter data into the Trust's medical equipment database accurately.
- Attend relevant training and participate in appraisal process.
- Perform any other duties as required to improve service.
Person Specification
Qualifications: English, Maths, RSA Keyboard skills, RSA Computing (Essential)
Experience: Significant office experience (Essential); Experience in Engineering background (Desirable)
Skills: Good communication, ability to deal with all staff levels, good organisational skills (Essential)
Attitude: Effective role model demonstrating NNUH's PRIDE values, commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (Essential)
