Governance Officer - Medicines Safety, Optimisation & Governance
We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient and organised individual to join our Pharmacy Medicines Safety, Optimisation and Governance Team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] for up to a 12 month period to cover maternity leave. The team is friendly and supportive with medicines and patient safety at the heart. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Medicines Safety, Optimisation and Governance Team, with emphasis on meeting schedules, agendas, minutes, action logs, data analysis, data management, and production of reports/dashboards.
Main Duties
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel and Outlook
- Experience or knowledge of NHS hospital services and/or pharmacy service desirable

Knowledge
- Essential: Understand critical importance of confidentiality, excellent IT knowledge (Microsoft packages), best practice in minute taking and meeting scheduling
- Desirable: Understanding of Governance concepts and principles
Experience
- Essential: Previous experience in administration in governance or similar field; ability to work flexibly and manage competing priorities
Qualifications
- Essential: Graduate level or equivalent or demonstrable experience in a similar role
