Job Summary

Join Our Dynamic Radiology Team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]! We are seeking a passionate and skilled Bank Sonographer to perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations including General Abdominal, Gynaecological, Small Parts, Musculoskeletal, Vascular, Neonatal Hip, and Inpatient scans. This role is based across our four sites: Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, Andover Community Diagnostic Centre, and Alton Community Hospital. You will also play a key role in training student Sonographers.

Main Duties

• Perform ultrasound examinations for ED, inpatients, outpatients, and GP patients including urology, baby hips, MSK, vascular, gynae, and soft tissue.
• Provide ultrasound support for ambulatory services such as Stroke and Same Day Urgent Care (note: Obstetric Ultrasound is separate).

Key Requirements

• PG Dip Ultrasound or international equivalent (DMU)
• BSc in Diagnostic Radiology or equivalent
• Voluntary register held by RCT or other regulatory body (HCPC, GMC or NMC)
• Broad experience in ultrasound techniques (at least two specialties: general, gynae, vascular, small parts, MSK, etc.)
• 6 months minimum UK ultrasound experience ideally in an NHS setting
• Car driver (role across all 4 [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] sites)
