The role involves preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for elderly residents, creating menus, and presenting food attractively. The ideal candidate will have City & Guilds 706 1&2 or equivalent, a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, and experience as a Head Chef or Cook in a similar environment. Supervisory experience and a caring nature are essential. The position offers a competitive salary, pension, training, and development opportunities.

Main Duties

  • Prepare high-quality, nutritious meals considering individual needs and cultural backgrounds.
  • Create menus and present food attractively to stimulate appetite.
  • Act as pivotal link between kitchen and serving areas.

Requirements

  • City & Guilds 706 1&2, or equivalent (achieved or working towards)
