Job Summary

The supervision of Domestic Assistants in order to maintain the required standards as set within cleaning specifications. The post holder will be based at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, but will be required to also supervise Domestic Services staff in clinics, health centres and hospitals in Community East, which includes Flintshire, Wrexham, Chirk and Llangollen.

We are offering permanent contract of employment and have the following post available: 1 x Part time (35 hours a week) - Hours of work will require a combination of 7am to 2:30pm and 12:30pm to 8pm to support service demands - working 5 days per week on a Rota which may include weekends and Bank Holidays. The Health Board offers excellent working conditions including a generous entitlement of paid holiday, enhanced pay for weekend working and an opportunity to join the Superannuation Pension Scheme.

Main Duties of the Job

• Allocating duties to Domestic Assistants and auditing their standards of work.
• Maintaining records for Annual Leave and stock of cleaning materials.
• Demonstrating cleaning tasks during training of new Domestic Assistants.
• Undertaking cleaning duties as required.
• Traveling to Community Hospitals and Clinics (shared pool car available).
• Ensuring cleaning standards are satisfactory in accordance with operational protocols.

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience (Essential)

Experience

• Previous cleaning experience in Health Care setting (Essential)
• Previous Supervisory Experience (Essential)
