FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a School Staff Nurse. This is a fixed-term, part-time position based in Flintshire. The role includes school health surveillance, immunisation, health promotion, and safeguarding. Sponsorship available.

School Staff Nurse

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] (BCUHB) is the largest health organisation in Wales. We are seeking a dedicated nurse to join our School Nursing Service in Flintshire.

Main Duties

Undertake school health surveillance and screening tests as per Healthy Child Wales Programme
Participate in immunisation programmes and outbreak control
Provide health advice to families and conduct home visits
Deliver health promotion activities in schools and community
Act in accordance with safeguarding procedures

Qualifications & Experience

Essential: First Level nurse
Desirable: RN Children, paediatric experience, supervision of staff

Salary & Contract

Band 5: £32,557 to £39,631 per annum (pro rata). Fixed term for 12 months. Part-time working pattern.
