Salary: £25,272 a year per annum pro rata
Contract: Bank (Part-time)

Job Summary
Domestic Assistants support the Trust in delivering a clean and safe environment for both service users and staff. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Community Domestic Assistant. This is a bank vacancy and requires flexible candidates to be able to cover for annual leave or sickness, shifts will be available across multiple sites across Cheshire West & Chester. The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
Main Duties of the Job
- Perform cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Work as part of a team and be flexible to cover annual leave and sickness
- Receive full training; uniform provided
- Previous domestic experience advantageous but not essential

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential: General Education; Hold or willing to undertake accredited Level 2 award in cleaning
Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning; Food Safety qualification
Knowledge and Expertise
Essential: Ability to accept and prioritise instructions
Desirable: Previous NHS cleaning knowledge
Experience
Essential: Good understanding of cleaning services
Desirable: Previous experience in Domestic Services and/or catering; Previous experience in dealing with the public
