Job summary
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an experienced Service Development Manager to lead the Mental Health Inpatient Programme across Oxford BSW and Buckinghamshire on a part time basis. This is a senior, high-impact role responsible for driving large-scale transformation across adult and older adult inpatient mental health services, ensuring care is safe, therapeutic, equitable and aligned to national and system priorities.
The postholder will lead and coordinate the Trust's Mental Health Inpatient Transformation Programme and Acute Mental Health Pathway work, working closely with clinical leaders, people with lived experience, system partners and senior executives to deliver sustainable improvements in quality, safety, flow and patient experience.
Main duties of the job
- Provide flexible, knowledgeable and high quality leadership to a programme of change in adult mental health services in Oxfordshire.
- To lead and facilitate the development of a range of workstreams and projects for the Mental Health Service Development Team
- Relationship building and developing effective working partnerships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure effective engagement in service development and change
- Scoping, analysing and assessing local and national policy and legislation which will impact on services, summarising impact and implications for services and teams.
- Planning and mobilising projects to deliver change, leading and oversight of projects, risk and issue management, reporting and monitoring, through the entire project lifecycle.
