Medical Administrator

Job Summary
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking to appoint an individual to join our friendly and progressive administration team. Main duties to include front of house reception desk and call centre for appointment bookings. Further training to be given as role progresses.
Main Duties
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Provide a high standard of front of house care.
- Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate and robust administrative work using a variety of computer programs to maintain paper light systems.
- Ensure practice policies and procedures are adhered to.

Essential
- Experience in working with members of the public
- Experience of working in a busy environment
Desirable
- Experience of clinical software systems
- Experience of working in a GP practice/medical setting
- Previous reception work/administrative work

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work on own initiative and in a team

- 5 GCSEs Grade C/4 and above, or equivalent, including Maths and English
- Proven computer skills
