Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for two Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians to join our well established, friendly Pharmacy team based at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] commencing on 1st September 2026. Pharmacy Technicians have an important role in the Hospital Team managing all aspects of the use of medicines. The role involves preparing and dispensing medicines, counselling patients, providing information on medicines, and ensuring efficient supply. Training includes day release for the Pharmacy L3 Integrated Apprenticeship.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Two year fixed term contract to train as a Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] NHS Foundation Trust.
  • Applicants must have minimum 4 GCSEs (grade C/4 or above) including English, Maths and Science.
  • Self-motivation, commitment to study, attention to detail, and ability to work with people.
  • Study in own time up to 10 hours per week plus work-based learning.
  • Upon completion, eligible to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
