Job Overview
The Fundraising Assistant plays a vital role within the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Team, providing day‑to‑day administrative and supporter‑focused assistance to help grow the charity’s fundraising activity across the North West. Acting as a key point of contact for staff, volunteers, and members of the public, the post holder supports a wide range of fundraising operations while ensuring all activity aligns with Trust policies, Fundraising Codes of Practice, and data protection requirements.
Main Duties of the Job
- Managing fundraising enquiries and processing donations accurately using Donorflex
- Preparing fundraising materials and supporting the planning and delivery of charity events
- Maintaining accurate records, managing stock of fundraising resources
- Assisting with income reconciliation and contributing to marketing materials (leaflets, posters, social media)
- Liaising with internal teams and providing general clerical support

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential: Minimum 4 GCSE's or equivalent including Maths and English
Desirable: IT skills demonstrated through a formal qualification
Knowledge and Experience
Essential: Experience of working in a clerical environment, with databases, and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Desirable: Experience of working with Charity databases
Skills and Abilities
Essential: Ability to work under supervision, carry out routine tasks, high accuracy and attention to detail, effective team player, good communication skills
Values and Behaviours
Essential: Understanding of Trust vision and values, flexible approach, enthusiasm, excellent attendance record
