Main Duties of the Job

Supporting the Chief Operating Officer, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Clinical Management Group Leadership Teams (CMGs), and other colleagues the post holder will support capacity, flow, discharge and operational projects and programmes across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. Responsibilities will include:

  • Operational leadership for capacity and flow team across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]
  • Operational leadership for discharge across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]
  • Operational leadership across the Trust, including supporting and leading the day to day running of our services and sites
  • Delivery of improvement programmes and deputising for colleagues where necessary
  • Leadership and management of external contractors and relationships
  • Leadership and responsibility for various other workstreams and projects across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and sometimes the system

Person Specification

  • Qualifications: Masters Level or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years at senior managerial level, evidence of ongoing CPD
  • Delivery: Evidence of transformation and delivering complex projects
  • Communication and Engagement: Evidence of communication and negotiation skills, ability to engage and motivate teams, positive leadership behaviours
