Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen for Ward Clerk to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible individual with excellent communication and administrative skills to work as part of the team.
You will be responsible for greeting our patients, families, and visitors as they arrive on the unit. IT skills are necessary and knowledge of Flex system would be beneficial, but training will be given. The successful candidate will enhance our team to maintain the highest standards of record keeping in line with data protection, have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the organisation.
We have a part-time position available. Flexibility is essential to cover weekly working patterns.
Main Duties of the Job
To provide a professional and courteous "front of house" service for all staff and visitors utilising the facilities provided by the unit at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], always acting in a professional and courteous manner. Respond to requests for information promptly and efficiently using a variety of communication methods, ensuring that Trust Customer Service standards are adhered to. Ensure information is accurate and meets Trust Standards regarding delivering information.
The wide variety of activities undertaken by the Trust means that responsibilities must be shared with other staff members/immediate co-workers. Teamwork and collaboration are vital, as is a flexible approach to both working duties and hours worked.
