Sterile Services Technician

This permanent, full-time role involves washing, inspecting, packing, and sterilising surgical instruments. No experience required – full training provided. Salary £25,272 per annum.

Job Summary

The Broomfield Hospital Sterile Supplies Department is a friendly, fast-paced unit providing high-quality sterile packs and surgical instruments to the Trust's Theatre complex and a range of clinical areas. We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for motivated, proactive individuals to join our dedicated team. We're looking for people who are methodical, meticulous and committed to delivering an exceptional decontamination service. In this role, you will wash, inspect, pack and sterilise surgical instruments, playing a vital part in ensuring the safety and quality of care for our patients and customers. Main Duties of the Job

  • Work on a rota basis with shifts between hours (Monday to Friday), Bank Holidays, Weekends, and night shifts.
