This centre will hold a major national profile with NHS England who are hoping that the pilot will radically transform how we deliver mental health care in the UK. Main Duties of the Job

As a Registered Mental Health Professional, you will provide care to service users/patients and coordinate the care delivered by colleagues. The post holder will deliver high-quality, safe care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence in line with the relevant professional code of conduct and standards of practice. The role includes leading the delivery of comprehensive service user assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of person-centred care in a collaborative manner. The post holder will coordinate a high-quality service that includes assessment and monitoring of physical health, maintaining service users' rights, supervising junior staff and students, working collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic working environment with accurate and timely records.

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic candidate who has relevant experience. Key Responsibilities: Assisting to deliver safe discharge or transfer of patient to other services, Making Referrals to: Crisis and Home Treatment Team, Other community Mental Health services, Social care, Peer support, Community support, Drug and alcohol/gambling support and Carer support. You are required to uphold professional conduct as required in delivering safe care to all patient regardless of patients gender, ethnicity, and their personal belief. To adopt a client centred approach embodied with the principles of the recovery model. To provide low intensity CBT and Mindfulness interventions under supervision. To provide psychoeducation to services users. To co-facilitate, where agreed, therapeutic groups with a focus on service user rehabilitation reintegration and social inclusion. Undertake any other duties that are commensurate with the band and nature of the post.

Qualifications

• Essential: Registered mental health professional

Experience

• Essential: Experience of research-based/reflective practice, e.g. understanding and ability to use supervision to reflect on skills, attitude and knowledge and develop these by using evidence based practice; Knowledge of relevant Professional and Clinical legislation; Flexibility to work a shift pattern of 8am - 8pm across a 7 day service
• Desirable: 1 year experience and above with no preceptorship programme pending.

• Essential: Empathy for service users including individuals who have experienced mental health problems; Loyal and able to advocate for and show pride in the work area and organization and demonstrates values of trust and NHS; Ability to fulfil all the requirements of the role (including physical)
