Bank Registered Nurse & Registered Nursing Associate

The [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Bank Registered Nurse & Registered Nursing Associate to join the Staff Bank. This role offers flexibility in working hours and the opportunity to gain experience across different departments within the trust.

  • Salary: £28,392 to £39,043 a year (pro rata)

Job summary

The Staff Bank is an ideal way of starting a career in the Trust, offering flexibility of working hours and the opportunity to gain experience in different areas. The Staff Bank will provide training to enable you to work across the Trust.

Requirements:

  • Essential to have inpatient experience of working in an acute hospital within the last 12 months as an NMC registrant.
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Ideally the ability to work a minimum of 12-24 hours per month.

Main duties of the job

To work with all members of the Ward/Department clinical team within the multi-disciplinary framework and maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse. To work in accordance with the principles set out by the NMC at all times and Trust Policies. Person Specification

  • Experience: RN&RNA: Nursing /Registered Nursing Associate in an acute hospital environment within the last 12 months as an NMC registrant.
  • Qualifications/training and professional development: RN&RNA: Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register OR Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register; RN&RNA: Completion of a preceptorship programme or significant demonstrable experience.
  • Skills, abilities and knowledge: RN: Time management skills OR RNA: Evidence of time management skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Attitude, aptitude: RN&RNA: Effective role model, demonstrating [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s PRIDE values of People focussed, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence; RN&RNA: Demonstrates understanding and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
