Senior Social Media Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Senior Social Media Manager (Organic) to drive impactful, insight-led social content and build stronger connections with our D2C audience. This is a hybrid role based in London.

About the Role

The Senior Social Media Manager (Organic) will lead the strategic planning and delivery of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s D2C organic social media presence across key platforms including Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn. This role will define [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s approach to social media, delivering content that is engaging, credible and compliant, and that builds long-term trust with our audience. The role will shape how our 'Feel Good Investing' promise is delivered to our customers through social media and directly contribute to our brand awareness and consideration objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop, own and evolve the social media strategy; oversee social media across the group; define channel roles within a regulated investment environment; define success measurement and reporting; work with insights/data teams; drive measurable impact on brand awareness; build and manage social media content roadmaps; manage the organic social media budget.
  • Content & Creative Oversight: Plan a calendar of content delivering 'Feel Good Investing'; maximise existing content; champion a test-and-learn approach; define and evolve [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s social tone of voice and creative identity; work closely with the acquisition marketing team for integrated organic and paid social.
  • Community & Engagement: Oversee community management with escalation processes; develop a community strategy for trust and advocacy; use social listening to inform brand, content and product teams; lead trend analysis.
  • Risk, Compliance & Governance: Ensure all content is compliant with industry regulation and internal policies; balance creativity with regulatory requirements; act as key stakeholder in risk and compliance discussions.
  • Team & Stakeholder Leadership: Act as senior authority on social media; influence senior stakeholders; line-manage the Senior Social Media Executive; manage agency relationships; collaborate with Content, PR, Brand, Marketing, Website and Customer Service teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience leading social strategy at scale
  • Strong background managing organic social within a regulated or complex environment (financial services ideal)
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Deep understanding of platform behaviours (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)
  • Creative and strategic mindset
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with social analytics tools and reporting frameworks
  • Understanding of content production workflows (especially video)
  • Commercially minded with strong understanding of brand building
  • Leverage tools and emerging technologies to scale content creation and insight generation
