Be the heartbeat of The Medlock as Assistant Maintenance Manager: lead a proactive team to keep guest spaces safe, reliable and impeccably presented.
About the Role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a proactive, detail-driven Assistant Maintenance Manager to help uphold the highest standards of safety, reliability and presentation at The Medlock at Etihad Campus, Manchester - a brand-new 401-key hotel and part of the Radisson Blu family. The role is key within the hotel's Maintenance Team, supporting the Chief Engineer, Hotel Manager and General Manager.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee all property systems, planned and reactive maintenance, contractor management and compliance.
- Maintain highest standards of safety, functionality and presentation across public areas, external surroundings, guest rooms and suites.
- Balance forward-thinking project work, daily operational needs and regular audits.
- Guide a team to create a consistently exceptional hotel environment.
We operate 365 days a year; shift patterns and contracted hours can be discussed at interview.

About You
- Proven hotel maintenance experience, ideally within an upscale or lifestyle environment.
- Meticulous, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Clear understanding of compliance, safety standards and robust building systems.
- Confident in leading a team and building strong relationships across all departments.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile environment where teamwork and communication are essential.
- Prior experience in a hotel pre-opening is desirable, or eager to learn.
