About the Role

As Kitchen Manager, you will take ownership of our kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, brand standards, and food safety policies are consistently upheld. You will oversee kitchen team performance, cost control, HACCP processes, and departmental audits, driving efficiency and innovation while maintaining profitability. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, hands-on leader who can inspire a kitchen team, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food that meets brand standards.
  • Manage stock, purchasing, and food cost controls using Epsys to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Implement, maintain, and enhance operational processes, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
  • Monitor and control departmental budgets, including payroll costs and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage department to create exciting menu offerings and food promotions.
  • Train, develop, and support kitchen team members to excel in their roles.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and team briefings.
  • Oversee the operational success of our Deliveroo agreement, ensuring policies are met.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by reviewing and acting on guest feedback and reports.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
  • Excellent understanding of food safety, HACCP, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing kitchen costs, stock control, and budgeting to maximize profitability.
  • A creative mindset with a passion for menu development and innovation.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
