[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our guest experience, delivering exceptional service. Salary: £26,436.80 per annum / £12.71 per hour, 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
- Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
- Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.
- Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
