Food and Beverage Manager

About the Role

Are you a strong leader with interpersonal and training skills? A good communicator who is service-oriented with an eye for details? A team player and a team motivator? As Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of the Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring the highest standards of service. You will plan, organise and direct the overall operation, administration, marketing and promotion of the outlet, and be accountable for its profitability and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain control measures for Food and Beverage costs, productivity, labour costs and operating supply costs in line with budget.
  • Plan budgets and review forecasts for revenue and expenditure on a monthly basis.
  • Carry out Duty Management shifts according to business needs.
  • Analyse and submit month-end reports, identifying deviations from business plan goals.
  • Participate in management meetings to review progress and develop annual business plans.
  • Plan, implement and measure profit enhancement programs in collaboration with kitchen and sales departments.
  • Prepare and submit post-mortem promotion reports to the General Manager.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for Restaurant, Bar and Room service.
  • Ensure constant liaison with the Head Chef, Conference and Events Manager and Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Service-oriented with attention to detail.
  • Team player and motivator.
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and Health and Safety procedures.
  • Experience in budget planning and forecasting.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
