[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Painter & Decorator for The Medlock, a Radisson Blu Hotel in Manchester. This is a full-time, on-site role with a focus on maintaining the hotel's high standards through detailed painting and decorating work.
About the Role
At Medlock, decorating is more than keeping walls looking fresh—it’s about creating an environment that feels cared for, considered and effortlessly inviting. You’ll take ownership of all aspects of painting and decorating—from day-to-day touch-ups to larger planned works—making sure every area consistently reflects our standards.
- Perform painting and decorating tasks across guest rooms, public areas, and hotel surroundings
- Work alongside trusted contractors and the wider maintenance team
- Maintain safety, quality, and presentation standards at all times
- Balance hands-on work with forward planning and regular checks
About You
- Proven hotel experience in a similar role, ideally within an upscale or lifestyle environment
- Meticulous, proactive, and solutions-focused with high attention to detail
- Understands compliance, safety standards, and robust building systems
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-profile environments with strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience in hotel preopening or ready to learn
