An exceptional opportunity for a hands-on, detail-focused Maintenance Engineer to play a key role in keeping a landmark new hotel running seamlessly, at the heart of Manchester’s Etihad Campus, home to Manchester City Football Club.

This brand-new 401-key hotel is set to be a game-changer in hospitality, integrating with the Etihad Campus. The next evolution of the campus will include state-of-the-art training facilities, a world class stadium, and vibrant leisure spaces including the Co-op Live arena.

We're opening our doors soon and building a team that's as warm, grounded and full of personality as the city we call home.

What you'll be doing

• Taking ownership of all aspects of maintenance—from day-to-day reactive tasks to planned preventative work.
• Ensuring every system, space and detail works exactly as it should.
• Working alongside trusted contractors and your wider team.
• Approaching compliance, safety and presentation with care and consistency.
• Balancing hands-on tasks with forward planning and routine checks.
• Operating 365 days a year with shift patterns designed to reflect the rhythm of the business.

About you

• Has proven hotel maintenance experience, ideally within an upscale or lifestyle environment.
• Brings a meticulous, proactive and solutions focused approach.
• Understands compliance, safety standards and robust building systems.
• Confident leading a team and building strong relationships.
• Thrives in fast paced, high profile environments.
• Has experience in hotel preopening—or is energised by the challenge.
