Inspector - Laser Crack Detection (Day Shift)

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], member of WSP, is seeking a fully skilled inspector for small batch work on high quality transmission components for motorsport/aerospace industries.

  • Location: Leamington Spa
  • Contract Type: Contract/Temporary
  • Salary: £15.58 - £16.68 per hour / Permanent salary £29,000 - £31,000 per annum plus benefits

Key Competencies and Experience

  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances
  • Ability to interpret and inspect components from drawings and planning route cards to the highest quality and within routed timeframes
  • Experience using manual measuring equipment and performing table work to check parts against drawing or planning requirements
  • Programming experience on CMM and knowledge of Mitutoyo software would be advantageous
  • Demonstrates a proactive and innovative approach to team support, with a strong focus on problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Flexible in supporting other areas of manufacturing when required
  • Willingness to work additional hours to meet delivery deadlines
