The Vacancy

Do you love working outside? We have an opportunity to join the Groundworks team in Somerset. So if you enjoy being in the outdoors, this could be the role for you.

What you’ll be doing

• Your role will vary from day to day and you must have experience in all aspects of groundworks and excavators which will include, kerb and edging laying, fencing, concreting, slab laying and drainage.
• Plus you must be able to drive an excavator and have skills in basic brickwork and rendering.
• You’ll need to ensure that your company vehicle is stocked for each required task and you’ll be happy to use handheld PDAs to record your jobs.

About you

• You'll love working outside and will bring your existing skills to the team.
• You'll be working out and about in our communities so you'll understand the importance of good customer service.
• You’ll have a full UK manual driving licence.
• You will understand the importance of working collaboratively with other [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] colleagues to get the job done.
• You’ll be happy to complete admin to support your daily tasks including daily vehicle checks.
