Position Overview

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is the first climate risk rating agency, born from [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s renowned academic expertise in finance. Following the landmark sale of Scientific Beta to the Singapore Stock Exchange and the recent acquisition of SIPA by PEI Group, we are now entering an exciting scale up phase.

We are hiring a Senior Sales to accelerate the growth of our solutions for financial institutions, corporates and public entities across the UK. You will lead new business development, turning market demand for climate risk intelligence into concrete business outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract, and work together with product, research, and leadership teams. You will also help shape our go-to-market strategy and contribute to thought leadership in a rapidly evolving regulatory and market environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Own and drive new business activity across UK and US prospects; identify, qualify, and progress opportunities; lead discovery sessions and deliver tailored demos.
  • Commercial Execution: Drive pricing proposals, lead contract negotiations, ensure smooth onboarding, maintain pipeline in CRM.
  • Market Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as voice of client internally, partner with product and marketing, represent [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] at events.

Who You Are

You are a commercially driven sales professional with a proven ability to win new business. You combine a client-driven mind with genuine curiosity for climate and finance topics.

What You Bring

  • Master's degree in business, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of sales or business development experience in financial services, ESG data, or climate finance
  • Strong client-facing experience and proven track record of closing new business
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proactive, fast learner with deal-driven mindset
  • Experience with CRM platforms
  • Native English, additional European language a plus
  • Existing UK market network advantageous
