[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Ltd is seeking full and part time rehabilitation support workers to support a client with an acquired brain injury in Barrow. Permanent positions available including sleep shifts. Salary: £15.00 per hour depending on experience.
Description
We are looking for full and part time support workers to support our client with prompts around personal care, social and leisure activities, administration of medication and following therapy programs set by physiotherapists.
Duties
You will be required to work with our friendly male client who has an acquired brain injury. Our client enjoys local activities and attending Headway. This post would suit someone who has knowledge of the area and enjoys finding new activities that may interest the client. You will support our client with his mobility, accessing the community, and social activities. You will work in our client’s own home and out in the community, including trying your luck at Bingo, attending Warm Hub and catching up with his family. You will support the client’s rehabilitation goals, medication needs, some personal care and daily living activities.
Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- You should have previous experience of working in the Health Sector.
- UK Driving licence.
- You should be trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course).
